That’s What You Think. Well, You Thought Wrong
It cannot be denied that there are a lot of times when hiring managers and recruiters think that they know everything about an applicant. It’s so annoying because they are borderline acting like the director, producer, and writer of the applicants’ life stories. They usually base it alone in their resumes and CVs, but trust me, there’s more to their story than these papers.
It is never okay to assume some things about someone else’s life, that is why the most respectful thing you can do is to ask them directly about it. Internships should have been considered a work experience, yet this hiring manager disregarded it, even if it’s the applicant’s bread and butter. Well, that’s a bit awkward, isn’t it?
