#21: Who’s Side Are You On?
The manager should always be on the side of his employees and stand behind their decisions. It might be an unpopular opinion, but employees should know they always have the support of their manager, especially when they did nothing wrong. They need to know the manager will have their back when push comes to shove.
If a manager chooses the side of the customer and makes their employee look like a fool, it’s pretty annoying, to say the least. No matter the job you have, you want to know that you can trust your manager to be on your side and have your best interest in mind.
