#16: Anyone Else?
You definitely need to bring out the big guns of niceness when you work in retail. One of the basic rules of good customer service is to be nice and polite and always greet customers with a smile. So, it’s no surprise that retail workers use up all their niceness at work and come home at the end of a long shift feeling like a corpse.

Being nice to people for twelve hours (and faking it) will really take the life out of you. We only have so much niceness in us, and we can’t be nice and polite all the time. We all get tired, hungry, angry and upset, and we can’t always put on a show. So, while we don’t work in retail, we find this tweet highly relatable.
