The skilled musician’s career spanned six decades, during which she released music that moved many people. Coal Miner’s Daughter, a film based on her life, starring Sissy Spacek, was released in 1980.
She received three Grammys from a total of eighteen nominations for her songwriting. Lynn, who had reached the ripe old age of 90, died peacefully in her sleep. Over the years, she battled a variety of health issues.
