The Sickly Look
I’d never thought the day will come where I identify with a plant, but here we are. Should I go around carrying a sign that says “I’m not dead, this is just how I look” so that people won’t be startled every time they see me? I don’t always feel like fixing my hair and makeup – carrying a sign explaining the situation seems like a lot less effort.
I guess no one’s going to want to buy a plant that looks pale and shriveled, as opposed to a luscious, green plant. I feel bad for this plant; it might look sickly, but that doesn’t mean it won’t make a great house plant. I can’t imagine where I’d be if people gave up on me because I look shriveled and pale.
