Troubles Peeling Ginger? Spoon it in an Instant!
Sounds too simple to be true, but it is that simple: because the skin on the exterior of ginger is ultra-thin, all you need to scrape it all down is a spoon (not unlike peeling a potato). Push the spoon, facing down, on one side of the ginger and pull it down until the skin is scraped.
Repeat this until all the skin is off. The skin would normally come off in tiny pieces, as if grated. Make sure to clean your cooking area well after scraping.
