Disassemble Those Pomegranate Clumps With Water
Let’s face it: everybody hates tearing apart pomegranates. It ruins your clothes and creates a whole mess. What can be done? Avoid it by removing the arils under water. Just score the skin around the center, peel the halves apart, cut them in half once more and submerge them in water.
The arils only need gentle taps to get dislodged from the membrane (which will float to the surface). With a strainer – strain the fruit from the water — this is how you can also save on those pricey aril cups at the local supermarket.
