24. Christian Ponder and Samantha Ponder
The NFL power couple, as some would call them, former quarterback Christian Ponder is married to Samantha Ponder, a sportscaster for ESPN, currently hosting the Sunday NFL Countdown. Although they were both in the same business, they met online. Not on a dating site, however, but on Twitter. In 2016 the quarterback messaged the sportscaster on Twitter, and the two started exchanging messages, hitting it off.
Within a few months, they were engaged. Football players don’t waste any time when they know they’ve met the one, because they also know that life can be short! Naturally, since they got married so fast, there were things they learned about each other later on, but at the time they got engaged, they were both going through changes in their lived, namely in their careers, and so they figured that this was the time to add another life-changing decision to the list.
