Have you ever heard the saying, “go big or go home?” Americans live by that saying, which is why the American dream is highly coveted. Sure, Americans may have some lofty goals, but they strive to be individuals and to go for their dreams. It’s inspirational optimism that strives non-Americans to achieve the American dream.
No wonder this Reddit user likes the idea of the American dream because the European philosophy of the tallest poppy getting cut is kind of depressing. You have to hand it to Americans because even if they have a rough road, they keep trying and don’t forget to follow their dreams.
