Totally Real
If kids dream about any of these toys, it has to be nightmares, and we don’t think they’d want to see the characters from their nightmares come to life. So, writing on a mermaid’s doll that it’s “totally real (like in your wildest dreams)” is a weird marketing strategy. Like we said before, these toys and dolls might seem deformed and off-putting to us, but for other people, their flaws are what make them beautiful. We’re not sure anyone thinks these dolls are beautiful, but they might think they’re unique.
