Harder, Butter, Faster, Stronger
Human interaction isn’t just about talking to others. There’s a level of acceptance that we require in order to maintain healthy relationships with other people. Respect and appreciation can really go a long way, especially if you’re trying to get on someone’s good side. Also, it doesn’t hurt to butter them up on occasion.
Is this person asking us to praise them in order to gain their respect, or do they literally want us to hurl sticks of butter in their direction? Our logical side is telling us that we need to be kind to this person, while the other side is daring us to toss butter at this guy and see how they react.
