#19: Leonard Hofstadter from The Big Bang Theory
I’m not sure that anyone ever particularly liked Leonard – he certainly wasn’t anyone’s favorite character – but assuming they did, I do have a theory here. I think it’s because he’s vulnerable, all those flaws are out there on display. When we see a hero with flaws, it makes them relatable (because we also have flaws). Sometimes, a perfect character might be more heroic but less likable.
