Nobody Wins
Your plane is delayed for nobody knows how long. You’ve been waiting in the terminal for five hours, and now, the airline company is telling you to be patient. The last time you ate was before leaving your home, and you’re not going to spend $100 on a burger at the airport. Sucks to be you.
Well, it sucks to be everyone, actually—the airline company most of all. Sure, you’re wasting your precious time at the terminal, but the airline company has to pay to park their aircraft and wait alongside you. Plus, the pilot and cabin crew don’t receive compensation for delays. Everyone is just as mad about the situation as you are.
