Where the Votes Don’t Matter
It’s weird how one week, a participant on The Voice can totally nail a song, but the next week, they struggle to hit the right notes. Well, it turns out that the reality TV show isn’t as true to life as they want it to appear. This is coming from someone who has friends who worked on shows like The Voice.
We already know that it’s hard for nobodies to audition in front of Simon Cowell, but when you make it to the top ten, what’s next? The show’s producers will do their best to sway the audience to root or jeer for particular people. Plus, our votes don’t matter. Every time you call or text the number that appears on screen, the production company makes money.
