Teachers Have Pets
Believe it or not, teachers have favorites. They might act like they love (or hate) you all equally, but deep down, there’s at least one student whom they love (or hate) more (or less) than everyone else. It’s hard for teachers not to show favoritism when one student obviously tries harder in class than everyone else.
Now, we’re not saying they’ll give them automatic A’s for every assignment and exam paper they hand in. However, they’ll feel reluctant to give them anything less than a passing grade. Trust us, we’ve taught before, and students who show enthusiasm in the classroom will be treated better than the others.
