University Professors ≠ Teachers
Here’s something that might surprise you, at least if you’ve been to college. Do you know those professors who spend all day and night teaching countless students for several decades before they slump over and die? Well, they probably didn’t even aspire to become teachers.
College professors make most of their money through research, which is where, in general, they put most of their focus in. In fact, college professors probably don’t have the slightest idea of how to teach a classroom. All they can hope for is that the students aren’t too critical and that they don’t ask difficult questions.
