Wor—Peach Juice
If you really sat down and thought about peaches, you’d probably come to realize that what the OP says makes complete sense. Peaches, which are super-watery, are the perfect breeding ground for insects and bacteria. But peach farmers can’t just toss out all the infected peaches, can they? Money doesn’t grow on trees, y’all. Peaches do (we think).
Anyway, to make back a tiny portion of their “losses,” peach farmers will sell their infected produce to juice companies at a super-low price. Those companies turn wormy peaches into juice, which we all love. You can’t be mad at the fact that you’re getting extra protein in your peach juice.
