Carving four presidents’ faces into a mountain is pretty impressive when it comes to monumental achievements. But did you know that each face has a unique feature requiring extra attention to detail? The sculptors who created Mount Rushmore had to hand-carve each president’s eyes, using nothing but their eyesight as a guide.
