In 2010, Old Spice came out with an advertising campaign titled “Smell like a Man, Man” (or “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like”) which has become one of the most popular commercials in the history of television. They’ve found the ultimate way to market men’s deodorant, targeting their female audience – the girlfriends, sisters and friends of their main audience.
Isaiah Mustafa, former football wide receiver-turned actor, was chosen to be “the man your man could smell like,” and he starred in the 30-second commercial that became nothing short of an international television hit, with the famous line “I’m on a horse.” Following the commercial’s success, Mustafa became the face of the brand
