The rivalry between Apple and Microsoft started in the early eighties and divided the world into two camps to this very day. Apple always had the upper hand when it came to aesthetics, but some people had a hard time adjusting to its unique operating system. Over the years, the two companies have demonstrated their skills in computers as well as advertising.
Between the years 2006 to 2009, Apple ran a commercial comparing their product and Microsoft’s, starring actor Justin Long as a Mac and John Hodgman as a PC. Naturally, the commercial examined every aspect where Mac exceeded PC. Acting isn’t Hodgman’s main passion, however – writing is. He’s a published author who’s appeared in Wired magazine and The New York Times magazine.
