What Happened to the Nostalgic TV Commercials Stars?

August 10, 2017 by Rebecca Rand

Lego

Lego is the ultimate toy for kids of different ages, and it has been for years now. The company was established back in the 1930s and has since provided children around the world with a fun, educational toy. They have a long legacy of clever commercials and advertisements, and this is one of their best.

They used the same model – Rachel Giordano – in their 1981 advertisement and 33 years later, in their 2014 advertisement. Seeing the same red-headed girl 30 years later, now as a grown up, melted the hearts of the public. This was a marketing success. Giordano has grown up to become a naturopathic doctor, but the ad wanted to convey the message Lego was right for all ages and genders.
