What Happened to the Nostalgic TV Commercials Stars?

August 10, 2017 by Rebecca Rand

Dos Equis

You must be familiar with the face of Jonathan Goldsmith, also known as The Most Interesting Man in the World thanks to the legendary Dos Equis commercial. The commercial was a whopping success and it ran for twelve consecutive years, from 2006 to 2018. It even turned into a popular internet meme (you must have seen some of them), and the face of The Most Interesting Man in the World, actor Jonathan Goldsmith, was plastered all over the internet.

The commercial was a success thanks to the wise, debonair look of Goldsmith, which seemed perfect for the part. Goldsmith started his acting career in theater during the sixties, and from the sixties well into the nineties, he appeared mostly in theater and TV productions. It was in 2006 that he appeared in the famous Dos Equis commercial, which remains his most memorable role to this day.
