T-Mobile
We honestly couldn’t come up with a better advertising strategy than recruiting an NFL star, and it doesn’t even matter what’s the product at hand. In 2014, for their Super Bowl commercial, T-Mobile cast NFL star Tim Tebow to play a fireman rescuing two puppies from a burning building. It sounds like it has nothing to do with telecommunications, but does it really matter?

They lucked out, since that year Tebow hand’t signed an NFL contract, so he was available for their commercial, and they played on this fact. The commercial showed what other jobs Tebow could get when he didn’t have an NFL contract, with the punchline being that contracts are limiting.
