The Baby Boom
When it comes to defining an entire generation of people, there are many points of reference to consider. Not only would you want to consider the things relevant happening in that time period, but also how the things that happened will affect the future. And we have to be honest, whoever came up with the name for the Baby Boom generation did a pretty good job.
Between 1946 and 1964 there was a significant increase in the birthrate of children in the United States as well as in other places around the world. No doubt that this increase was a result of the Second World War ending, and people ultimately finding peace. However, these days “baby boomers” are not the most adored generation. Considering their point of view and ways of living are somewhat outdated, younger generations have a difficult time dealing with them sometimes.
