How not to bake pies
It turns out that eggs have a very important function in pies. We couldn’t tell you since we’re not food scientists, but based on this picture and its description, the pie probably would’ve come out not as oily as this. The silver lining is that the OP could’ve eaten the pies, despite their unattractive appearances.
