Expats tell what it’s really like to live in Dubai

October 17, 2015 by Veronica Phillips

A hot spot for Celebrities

Dubai has become one of the most visited cities in the world not only for regular people but also for celebrities. The hot weather, the largest shopping mall in the world, the historical street market, gold retail and the artificial archipelago have all played their part. Moreover, if we add to the mix low criminal rate, luxurious lifestyle and show extravaganza … then it easily becomes a hot spot for celebs from all over the world.

Power couple conformed by former football player David Beckham and former Spice girl Victoria Beckham have purchased a property at the famous archipelago Palm Jumeirah.  Lindsay Lohan, on her part,  has purchased a piece of land at The World Islands. The rumors say that she is planning the redevelopment of the land and the final product would be called “Lohan Island”.
