Here’s a funny sign that only born-and-raised Alaskans are far too familiar with. When it reaches 0°F, it’s beach season! Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen, or you might get burned by the scorching-hot sun. Seriously, can anyone actually enjoy the beaches in Alaska when there’s more ice than water?

Winters in Alaska can drop as low as -50°, which is pretty crazy to say the least. We’ve been to Minnesota, and we’re telling you that place is cold in the wintertime. But even Minnesota is nothing compared to Alaskan winters! Don’t forget to bring a fifth pair of gloves, just in case.
