#11: Marble Caves (Chile)
Over thousands of years, the water of General Carrera Lake carved these incredible caves. The swirling blue-and-white patterns in the walls are not paint; they are solid marble. When the Patagonian sun hits the turquoise lake water, the light reflects up and dances across the cave ceilings. You can only get here by boat, and floating through the smooth, water-sculpted archways feels like entering another dimension. It’s a natural cathedral of stone and light, created slowly and patiently by the patient work of water.
