#24: Ulysses S. Grant
The 18th President, Ulysses S. Grant, was known for his military career, being the commanding General who led the Union Army to victory. This photo, circa 1847, was taken during his time as a young officer. Military outfits used to have so much style to them! You also know him as the man on the $50 bill. Speaking of which, I could use a few Grants myself.
