#17: Orange Julius
In the mid-1920s, a small orange juice stand opened, selling a unique “smoother” style of orange juice to its customers. Because the taste and texture were so unique, it became very popular, very fast. However, many people may never have heard of it if it wasn’t for Dairy Queen.

Dairy Queen took over the brand and sold it side by side in many of their chains in the late 80s. Because Dairy Queen was already a staple back then, everyone had to have their latest and greatest product, making Orange Julius a name everyone will remember. Or maybe only people who were around in the 80s.
