The risks of the profession
Working at a hardware store sounds safe enough – after all, if you’re a responsible person, what can possibly go wrong? Certainly, this woman never expected anything like this to happen, and while we’re on the subject, how did it even happen? We can’t even begin to guess, but it seems like it was intentional.
However, if you try hard enough, you can find light in everything, even in this unfortunate situation: at least the paint missed her eyes, otherwise, this could’ve been a lot worse. It was a close call, and so you can consider this girl lucky, in a way. I think for her next line of work, she might reconsider the possible risks.
