He’s determined
This doesn’t seem like an accident, but this bird seems very determined to hit this person, and try as he might to avoid it, some things are inevitable. I would definitely call this a bad day at work, not only because this seems incredibly painful, but somehow it can caught on camera at exactly the right moment (or the worst moment, if you ask this guy).
Working on the golf course, you might consider getting hit by a stray ball as one of the possible risks of the job; never in a lifetime would I expect a bird attack to be the reason why someone’s day was ruined. The good news is this isn’t something that can happen to anyone, but only people with exceptionally bad luck.
