What are you looking at?
Those of us who have pets, mostly dogs, know that whenever we sit down to eat, they circle under the table like vultures waiting for some crumbs to fall down. Cats have a different method, however. They linger beside you while you eat, but it’s not to their level to pick up crumbs from the floor, and so they simply look at us, waiting to receive something.
This cat looks like he’s waiting to get what’s rightfully his – as the master of the house – a piece of this appetizing lunch. There’s no such thing as “personal space” in his lexicon, at least not when it comes to food, and judging by the look of jealousy on his face, he’s not leaving this spot until he gets something to eat.
