An Economical Decision
Before you move in with your partner, eating out used to be a sacred ritual. Sacred not because of the food in itself, but because you frequently go out on dates. However, this ritual could place some weight on your pockets, especially if you keep going topnotch without earning so much. When you move in, you and your partner can always cook at home. You could even have fun cooking together and share some love as you dig into the meal.
But – there’s always a but. If you’re not the cooking type, and your partner is not quite the chef, then you’re back to square one. We can only assume this guy was lucky enough to find a woman who likes to cook (and maybe is a bit frugal). Now, he doesn’t have to spend money on lunch every day, and can enjoy home-cooked meals.
