#7: Wedding Bells
The world is a much different place compared to when our grandparents were young. Back in the day, it was the norm for young couples to get married right away. Nowadays, getting married isn’t a top priority for many young people. People have careers and adventures that they want to experience before settling down. Because of our changing world, marriage advice isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation.
Someone shared that they once received the worst possible marriage advice. Someone in their life told them to go ahead and get married even though they were having relationship problems. Why? Well, according to this person, “they will change” after they get married. We all know how untrue this is. Some people never change. If they don’t want to put in effort to fix relationship problems before marriage, they won’t magically change after tying the knot.
