#5: Short Hair, Don’t Care
According to the 1939 Hairdressers Act, any premises in which the trade or business of a barber or hairdresser is carried on must be registered. Not just anyone can decide to set up a hairdresser salon in their house on a whim; there are rules that need to be followed.

Of course, this act only refers to people working as hairdressers and being paid for it, not people who cut their hair. As long as you don’t get paid to do that, you should be fine.
