I know this is one of the bigger lies that Baby Boomer parents are accused of cruelly telling their Millennial children but I do have to say that I don’t blame the Boomers. After all, they do not believe they are telling a lie, they are simply continuing to speak their truth that happens to no longer be true.

I’m certain they are not doing so out of any ill intent. Rather, they know that this is the ethos that served them and enabled them to achieve all that they did in their lifetimes and assume that it will equally serve their children. What can I say, except that there are going to be a bunch of Millenials in midlife crises soon?
