#2: The Participation Trophy
Many older adults think the younger generations are entitled because they received participation trophies as children, even if they lost the game. Maybe some younger folks are like that because of those trophies, but this person has a point.

My opinion? There should be a middle ground between berating a kid because he didn’t win his tee-ball game and giving him a piece of plastic he’s going to chuck into his closet until he eventually throws it away when he’s 13.
