Psycho (1960)

There’s no doubt about it, Alfred Hitchcock’s genius work of art, Psycho, is a masterpiece highly acclaimed in the horror genre. Norman Bates, played by Anthony Perkins, was hands down one of the most creepy characters horror films has ever seen. Perkins’ performance lends the character a level of believability and reality unmatched by any other horror actor.

This movie, created in 1960, features the main character Bates, who is arrested and sentenced to jail time towards the end. If you’re wondering which scene from this movie made the most-paused list, it’s this one, pictured above. Look closely, and you can see a skull faintly overlaid upon his face.
