Meal Prep
If there is one thing toddlers are notorious for, it’s their lack of appreciation for the effort they put in. Appreciation is simply an abstract concept to them at this stage. Do they care that you just spent the last hour or two preparing a meal for them? No. If they don’t want to eat, you’ll probably spend another hour trying to lure them into eating your food.
But if the consumption is of anything inedible, that’s when the plot changes. Drinking bathwater they’ve peed in/ Yes. Are they eating Play-Doh? Yes. The list is endless. The moral of the story is toddlers will eat anything they shouldn’t but what you cook for them. Well, unless your child is part of the minority, that’ll shove down any plate of food placed in front of them.
