Chaotic Walks
Being cooped up in the house with kids day and night might just lead to the worst case of cabin fever. So the solution is to take a walk once in a while. Now only if it were that easy. Walks are supposed to be peaceful and fun but, with toddlers, this expectation is far-fetched and in stark contrast to reality.
Walks turn into a chaotic and anticlimactic event where you often regret stepping out of the house or even considering a walk. Any form of agreement on good behavior is forgotten about the minute you set foot outside the door. You’ll be running after them, yelling at them to stay close by, trying to stop fights, or dealing with tantrums. It’s all part of the journey, and you just have to hope things will be better with each walk.
