Chair art
Wow, that’s a stunning sight. You’d be forgiven for guessing. This is some sort of strange seat dump that has accumulated over the years. Nonetheless, these seats weren’t put there at random; they were instead positioned to create huge craftsmanship work.
Doris Salcedo was responsible for everything. In Istanbul, the 1,550 seats emerged as Doris needed to demonstrate to the country how many foreigners had helped build its economy over time. The height of this art piece is brought into perspective by the guy standing next to it.
