There’s something strange about this picture of a young lady in a field, isn’t there? The oddity came when the girl’s father admitted that no one else was in the vicinity at the time.
This raised the question of who was still left behind her at the hour of the photo. The snap was reclaimed in 1964, and it immediately sparked a commotion. This shot became known as Solway Firth Spaceman after it was published.
