These Overheard Office Conversations Made Us Rethink What We Say in the Office

We feel like we’re missing a lot of context and information here; what does this person mean by “left behind”? And what did they mean by “they’re always crying”? Who’s always crying? I can’t imagine the women in the office are crying all day. What he probably meant (yes, I’m assuming it’s a man) is that women don’t get ahead because they’re too whiny.

This is completely out of context, but he probably meant to say that women don’t get ahead and don’t get promoted often because of their whiny nature. It’s such a ridiculous thing to say that I’m honestly speechless. Can you believe someone heard that in their office? Hopefully, it’s not someone from the upper management who said that.
