I’m not sure where to award the point on this one. I absolutely agree that men shouldn’t always have to make the first move; that feels like a relic from an earlier time, and if a girl likes a guy and wants to ask him out rather than waiting for him to ask, why shouldn’t she?

But I also know there are guys out there who feel threatened and emasculated when women are the ones making moves and asking on dates; I’ve known guys to lose interest in a girl who shows initiative. But I suppose I wouldn’t want a date a guy like that anyway. So, point to the poster. Sorry, Boomer.
