Nothing makes people more mad—specifically at other generations—than talking about money and the economy. Young people think old people ruined the economy. Old people think young people are just bad at managing their money.

Personally, I think both sides have a point. It’s absolutely true that the economy has changed massively and the old rules, the old American dream, don’t apply so neatly anymore. But it’s also true people do still get good grades, good scholarships, and good jobs literally all the time. So maybe the younger folks don’t need to be quite so doom and gloom.
