You know, I can kind of see where this person was coming from when they gave this piece of advice. It is definitely a good thing for parents to get on the same page about discipline, child rearing, rules, etc.

But if you’re not on the same page—or if you thought you were on the same page but it turns out you aren’t—and your partner goes off in a way you think could do some harm to your child, you should definitely step in! That’s more important than a united front.
