There is no denying that we have all benefited greatly when it comes to technological advancements. Whether it be our smartphones, our ability to get around easily with Google Maps, or not having to print our photos out each time we want to see a roll of film. However, there are certain things that many of us remember doing daily that now seem somewhat irrelevant, especially to people in younger generations. Whether they weren’t taught these skills or chose not to acquire them, kids and young adults today don’t seem to know how to do many of these once-critical skills.

It might seem incredibly obvious to some, but knowing how to file something properly is a skill. Something so simple and second nature to most adults is not something children, or even young adults today, know how to do. So, the next time you’re feeling down in the dumps for feeling old, remember you know how to file, and no one can take that away from you.
