An electric knife was once considered the height of technology. Everyone had one of these in their kitchen to help them slice meat, especially Turkey on Thanksgiving, but not just. Today, of course, they are pretty much unnecessary. We’re not sure they were ever necessary, but people just liked to use them because it made them feel like they were living in the future.
