7Up was launched in 1928 as a carbonated lemon-lime drink and over time become one of the most popular drinks ever. Its history is filled with colorful ads that you may or may not remember from decades past. That’s why this listicle is here, to remind of some of the 7Up ads that time forgot, but we haven’t.

#1: When it was formulated, 7Up contained lithium, a mood-enhancer that is now used as a medication (1933)
